Growing up in small-town Italy during the '60s and '70s, two brothers celebrate opposing political stances, but share an impassioned love of the same woman.
The film observes them over the course of fifteen years against the tumultuous backdrop of Italian socio-political history. As time passes their lives take different routes, yet there is an underlying love and affection that stops them from breaking all contact.
It’s a subtle, amusing and impeccably performed film, full of energy, honesty and visual flair.
